Mycofest 2024 VIP Dinner

Join Drew Zimmerman from Unkle Fungus Mushrooms and Dustin Powers @Future4200 with special guest, William Padilla Brown, founder of Mycofest and Mycosymbiotics for a VIP experience Thursday August 1, 2024. This event will be hosted on the Mycofest event grounds and will allow you early entry to the site.

What to expect:

There will be an afternoon foray lead by Drew Zimmerman in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of State Collage Pennsylvania followed by a hash pairing sesh while being served a multi-course small plate dinner curated by non-other than Chef Kurt.

Chef Kurt is a private chef with a respected portfolio in regards to the culinary arts. He started washing dishes in the 90’s, worked his way up to operating his own aquaponics system as the executive chef of the Garlic Poet Restaurant and Bar, and now hosts the PA State Farm Show’s PA Perferred Culonary Stage each year. His pride in his service to the dining public has always been paramount. Currently specializing in private events, he show cases his true talent in culinary hospitality using hyper local and seasonal items in creative and unique ways. This event’s unique culonary experiance will be a collaborative between Chef Kurt and Drew Zimmerman.

Drew has studied mycology and wild mushroom identification since 2016 and makes unique value added products out of wild foraged and homegrown produce while experimenting with Koji and fermentation. It will be a one of a kind experience that you’ll be glad you were apart of.
